🎮 Ramy — When a Game Reward Looks Too Good to Be True
Ramy sees an exciting offer promising free rewards for his favourite game. The offer looks convincing, but something about the link doesn't feel right.
The lesson: Children learn to pause before clicking, downloading or sharing information, especially when an online offer seems too good to be true.
Rumi — When Younger Children Start Exploring Online
Rumi is younger than the rest of the Cyber Crew, but she is already curious about the digital world around her. Her experiences show why online-safety conversations should begin early.
The lesson: Children learn that being younger doesn't mean being excluded from digital safety and that trusted adults can help them understand new online experiences.
Zuri — When an Online Friendship Becomes Too Personal
Zuri meets someone online who seems friendly and starts asking questions. The conversation becomes uncomfortable when they begin asking about her school, name and where she lives.
The lesson: Children learn that online friendliness doesn't automatically mean trust and that personal information should never be shared simply because someone asks.
Kai — When Something Online Makes You Uncomfortable
Kai comes across content online that he wasn't expecting and doesn't know how to react. Instead of keeping the experience to himself, he learns that asking for help is the safest choice.
The lesson: Children learn that uncomfortable online experiences can happen and that they should never feel embarrassed or afraid to tell a trusted adult.
Amelia — When Gaming Brings Unexpected Risks
Amelia is enjoying time online when a gaming interaction takes an unexpected turn. What begins as something fun becomes a situation where she needs to think carefully about what is happening.
The lesson: Children learn to recognise risky interactions, protect their personal information and understand that they can leave a situation whenever something doesn't feel right.
David — When an Online Friend Isn't Who You Think
David becomes deeply involved in his favourite game and starts making friends online. One player gains his trust, then convinces him to use his dad's credit card to buy rare gaming equipment.
The lesson: Children learn that online friendships need boundaries and that they should never share financial information or make purchases because someone online asks them to.
Salouha — When Online Words Hurt
Salouha experiences hurtful behaviour online that affects how she feels even after she puts her device away. She has to decide whether to stay silent or tell someone what is happening.
The lesson: Children learn that cyberbullying should not be handled alone and that speaking to a trusted adult is an important step toward getting support.
